The United Synagogue Fuchsberg Jerusalem Center offers a selection of activities geared to visitors and residents. You can sign-up for one or more activities to create your own custom program. Individuals, families and synagogue and community groups of all backgrounds and learning levels are welcome to plan a program suited to your specific dates and needs.

Project Oded Continuing Education Interactive Beit Midrash Learning
Our dynamic continuing education program offers ongoing studies in a responsive, open, and co-educational community for both locals and visitors from abroad. The study of traditional Jewish texts is pursued in a warm, congenial and intellectually stimulating environment, with a “Klal Yisrael” perspective and respect for different Jewish lifestyles and ideas. Topics include Ancient and Modern Jewish History, Talmud, Bible, Archaeology and Jewish Thought. Please see this semester’s schedule or contact us with the dates you’ll be in Jerusalem.

Monday Evening Forum

Torah Touring
We explore sites in and around Jerusalem through the lens of Jewish texts, as we examine both their ancient and modern significance. Popular tours include the Old City in First and Second Temple times, the City of David including the recent archaeological excavations, and walking tours of the many historical neighborhoods of Jerusalem.

Gemilut Hesed: Community Service Volunteering
Our volunteer programs help local residents, from children through senior citizens, who rely on this type of assistance.

The beautiful United Synagogue Fuchsberg Jerusalem Campus in downtown Jerusalem is your home in Israel. Individual visitors are invited to arrange a guided tour of the complex, see our programs in action, meet friends, and take advantage of our computer center and wireless network. Synagogue and community tour groups are encouraged to incorporate a custom educational program and tour of the United Synagogue Fuchsberg Jerusalem Campus into their Israel trip.
