Kollel Advanced Learning

The Advanced Kollel program is intended for students with a strong background in traditional texts. The course of study includes Talmud with Rishonim, Tanach, Philosophy, and Halacha. Classes are taught mostly in Hebrew by the Yeshiva faculty.

Students in the Advanced Kollel program have the opportunity to study in small classes, specifically geared to expanding knowledge of commentaries as well as text skills. Faculty members Rabbi Dr. Shmuel (Richie) Lewis and Dr. Joshua Kulp work closely with each advanced student to design a course of study appropriate to individual learning goals. Advanced students will also use their skills to help other students and have the opportunity to offer Shiurim in subjects of interest.

The Advanced Kollel program is recommended for Jewish professionals such as educators and rabbis, graduates of yeshiva high schools, and those who have spent at least a year studying at a yeshiva.

The other aspects of the Advanced Kollel program are the same as the Year and Semester Program. Students may participate in the Advanced Kollel program for less than a full academic year.
